I’m Johanna, it’s a pleasure. I’m a digital nomad since I was 23… currently I’m 27 and it’s my first time at the Caribbean. I want to tell to about my experience discovering this beautiful place and meeting so many kind people at Caleta!

My first day I arrived around 8:15 a.m., so I went straight to the hostel but the check in was at midday, where Andy the receptionist, told me that I could leave my stuff there until then, and also recommended a nice café nearby.

After that it was check-in time, so I came back and met three Colombian girls at my shared dorm. The were so nice and told me they were staying at Caleta for about 10 days, and that if I was planning to do the same I’d get a discount. They told me I should go to a bunch of places (some of them were in my bucket list), so I did.

Marina Puerto Cancun for a secret beach and shopping!

Playa del Carmen for a nice long walk at La Quinta Avenida.

Holbox and Isla Mujeres for beautiful sunsets and tours

The roof top for a nice morning stretch, sending e-mails or the nicest pool followed by yummy cocktails

Zona Hotelera for clubs and knowing a lot of people.

Merida, the Yucatan’s capital for a soft atmosphere, just 3:30 hrs away (I took an ADO bus just across an avenue from Caleta)
